Federico Demaria

Federico Demaria is an ecological economist in the Environmental Science and Technology Institute of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (ICTA-UAB). He is the co-editor of ‘Degrowth: A Vocabulary for a New Era’ (Routledge, 2015), a book translated into ten languages. He is a founding member of Research & Degrowth. His research interests include the relations among capital accumulation by dispossession and contamination, environmental justice and degrowth. He is also an organic olive farmer.
