Yannick Deniau holds a Master degree in geography in the university of Grenoble (France). Specialized in GIS, social cartography and countermapping especially with local organisations in México. His main research interests are about mining and energy conflicts focus mostly in Latin America and the use of cartography tools to analyse social metabolism.
